If you find that you’re having a hard time competing with other websites in organic listings, you might want to consider creating a Local Business Centre listing if you haven’t already done so. Verify your website: This will prevent any others from claiming your address.

    That’s awesome advice give it a while and google local will become completely unusable and trustworthy.

    One thing I did forget to mention was that if you’re signed in with a Google account you can write reviews for the Local Business Listings. I know of a t-shirt design company that offers a discount to anyone who writes a review for their Local Business listing.
